Description
In Allegiance: War of Factions, the city is on the brink of destruction and it's up to you to unite its warring factions under your leadership. This medieval fantasy game is all about extending your influence and control over the city's major powers, from politics and religion to economics. With two to six players taking on the roles of lords and ladies, you'll need to navigate complex alliances, negotiations, and even outright battles to emerge victorious. The game's unique blend of mechanics, including dice rolling, card drafting, and role-playing, makes for a thrilling experience that's full of surprises. As you play, you'll have to make tough decisions about which factions to support and when to form alliances or go it alone. Will you back the mighty House Mosfin, or perhaps curry favor with the followers of the Goddess Kalim? Maybe you'll choose to ally with battle-hardened veterans, or try to manipulate the city's resources to your advantage. With a playtime of around 60 minutes, Allegiance: War of Factions is a game that's both challenging and rewarding, requiring strategic thinking and a healthy dose of cunning. Designed by Andrew Grierson and first published in 2004, this game has stood the test of time, offering a rich and immersive experience that's sure to keep you coming back for more.
