Description

In Free Ride, you're in charge of building railway lines across Europe, connecting 45 cities and carrying passengers to their destinations. The game board shows a network of potential routes, and you'll build lines that are either yours, owned by fellow players, or state-owned. As you travel along these lines, you'll pay nothing to use your own or state-owned lines, but you'll have to pay a coin to use a fellow player's line, which then becomes state-owned and free for all. You'll start by drafting a travel route, choosing from multiple options, each with three cards. As you build your lines and complete your routes, you'll earn coins and points. The game ends when all players have withdrawn, and the player with the most points wins. With its unique blend of route-building and strategic planning, Free Ride offers a fun and challenging experience for 1 to 5 players, and even includes a solo challenge for those looking for an extra test of their skills.
