Bloody Sails is a thrilling strategy board game that drops you into the midst of a fictional Scandinavia in the 10th and 11th centuries, where Norse kingdoms are vying for power and threatening neighboring foreign kingdoms with raids and pillages. As one of the Norse monarchs, you'll lead your kingdom through a span of 20 to 40 years, with each year divided into four action-packed seasons. Your goal is to gather resources, improve your cities and tribe, explore the seas, build armies, and fight against other Viking and Christian empires to ultimately triumph over your opponents. With a unique blend of action queue and campaign/battle card-driven mechanics, Bloody Sails offers a rich and immersive gaming experience. You'll create great overseas domains, develop your nation with the riches from your raids and trades, and command great armies and famed heroes to prove your worth on the battlefield. The game's normal complexity makes it easy to learn for fans of board games, and with 90 to 180 minutes of playtime, you'll have plenty of time to dive into the world of Bloody Sails.
