Description

In Antiquity, you'll embark on a journey through medieval Italy, navigating the challenges of building a thriving civilization. As one of 2 to 4 players, you'll choose a patron saint that determines your victory condition, whether it's population growth, trade, conquest, or city building. Each strategy requires a unique approach, and you can even opt to adore Santa Maria, the most powerful saint, but be prepared to build a civilization that's twice as impressive as your opponents. As you progress, your economy will improve with more advanced cities, but the land around you will slowly deplete, forcing you to travel further for resources. With a playtime of 120 to 180 minutes, Antiquity is a game that requires strategic thinking and planning. Published in 2004, this game has stood the test of time, offering a rich and immersive experience that's perfect for fans of city building, civilization, and economic games.
