Description
Rocca Town is a fun and fast-paced card game that's all about building a vibrant town by connecting houses with matching colored roofs. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 10 players can jump into the action, enjoying a playtime of just 10 to 20 minutes. Designed by Masahiro Kakinokihara and Trůlie Okamocĕk, this 2015 release combines hand management and tile placement mechanics to create a thrilling city-building experience. On each turn, players can either play a card that matches a roof color already on the table or draw a new card to add to their hand. The twist comes with special cards that allow for tower-building, direction-changing, and even a bit of luck with the "Trulie" card, which involves rolling dice to determine the outcome. Some houses feature cats on the roof, enabling players to play another card of the same color, while others have arrows that dictate the direction of play. The goal is to be the first player to empty their hand, but beware - building tall towers can come with a penalty, forcing the next player to draw cards equal to the number of levels. With its simple yet engaging gameplay, Rocca Town is perfect for a quick game night with friends or family.
