Description

First Ascent is a strategic board game where 2 to 5 players compete to become the most skilled climber by creating the best route up the mountain. Each player takes on the role of a unique character, building their route, managing resources, and accumulating skills and gear to increase their efficiency. The game is all about planning and strategy, as players aim to gain the most points by climbing pitches, achieving objectives, and earning technique bonuses. As players ascend the mountain, they practice their skills and become more efficient climbers, earning assets that help them fulfill the requirements of future tiles. The game is not just a race to the top, but about creating a strategic route that rewards cunning and planning. With a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, First Ascent is an exciting adventure that challenges players to think critically and make tactical decisions to outdo their opponents and create the greatest First Ascent.
