Description

Through the Ages is a civilization building game where you'll attempt to build the best civilization by managing resources, discovering new technologies, and electing the right leaders. The game takes you on a journey from the age of antiquity to the modern age, where careful planning and strategy are key to success. With a unique card drafting mechanism, you'll need to balance resources to advance your technology and build a strong military to protect yourself from opponents. Your goal is to accumulate the most culture by the end of the modern age, but be warned, a weak military can leave you vulnerable to attacks from other players. With no map to worry about, the focus is on building and managing your civilization, making for a challenging and engaging experience for 2 to 4 players. Designed by Vlaada Chvátil, this 2006 game is a classic in the civilization genre, offering a fun and complex gameplay experience that will keep you coming back for more.
