Description

Fanticide is a darkly thrilling skirmish game that drops you into the midst of battles between opposing warbands, each with their own unique brand of homicidal chaos. With a ruleset that's easy to pick up, you can dive right into the action, building your own warband with the miniatures of your choice - whether that's centaurs, fae, creeps, or even flying monkeys from the Land of Od. The game's open architecture and clear guidelines mean you can get creative with your army, using any miniatures you like, including historical ones. The real twist in Fanticide comes from its card-driven sequence, which replaces the traditional "I go, you go" turn structure with a more dynamic and unpredictable system. Each unit, character, and monster has its own activation card, which determines when they can move and act, while event cards thrown into the mix can produce random and often hilarious outcomes - like killer unicorns rampaging across the battlefield thanks to the 'Rainbow' Event. With playtime coming in at just 20 minutes, Fanticide is a quick and intense experience that's perfect for a casual game night, and its simple yet satisfying combat and magic system means you can focus on strategy and fun rather than getting bogged down in complex rules.
