Description
In Amyitis, 2 to 4 players take on the roles of rival architects competing to build the legendary Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The game is inspired by the myth of Amytis, the daughter of a Median king who married King Nebuchadnezzar II, and whose homesickness led to the construction of the gardens. Players strive to raise their status by building gardens, irrigation networks, and trading with ancient cities, all while recruiting craftsmen and acquiring valuable plants. As players take turns, they can recruit craftsmen, move their caravan to purchase plants or trade, or pass to gain income. The game is interactive, with each player's actions directly affecting others. With a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, Amyitis offers a fun and challenging experience for 2 to 4 players, with rules of normal complexity that are easy to learn for those familiar with board games.
