Description
In Upstream, you'll guide your school of salmon upstream to lay their eggs where they were born, navigating a treacherous river filled with hungry bears, fierce birds of prey, and patient fishermen. The journey is just as challenging as it is exciting, with the strength of the water flow causing parts of the river to shift and change each round. You'll need to strategically spend your action points to move your salmon tokens, either swimming or jumping across the hexagonal tiles that make up the river. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 25 to 40 minutes, Upstream is a great game for 2 to 5 players looking for a fun and challenging experience. Designed by Víctor Samitier and published in 2017, this abstract strategy game combines elements of racing and environmental themes, making for a unique and engaging gameplay experience.
