Description
In the medieval city of Arcanum, four noble Houses - Pentacles, Chalices, Swords, and Wands - are vying for power and supremacy. As a player, you'll represent a path for Fate, trying to shape the destiny of these Houses to suit your goals. With a regular Tarot deck as the driving force behind the game, you'll move game pieces on the board and make strategic decisions to influence the Houses. As you play, you'll need to balance skill, bluffing, intuition, and reading your opponents' moves to gain victory. With 45 minutes of playtime, Arcanum is a game of normal complexity that's easy to learn for experienced board game players. Designed by Andrea Chiarvesio and Pierluca Zizzi, this game is all about optimizing point scoring and deceiving your opponents about your real intentions, making it a fun and engaging experience for 3 to 5 players.
