Description

In the game Naja, you and your opponent take on the roles of royalty, sending your cobras, or najas, to claim areas of the board and surround the valuable scarabs. The game is set in ancient Egypt, where the naja symbolized sovereignty and royalty, and the goal is to ensure new life and prosperity for your lineage. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be placing your najas on the board in no time, trying to outmaneuver your opponent and claim the most valuable areas. As you play, you'll need to be strategic about where you place your najas, trying to surround as many scarabs as possible while avoiding the bonfires that can harm your snakes and weaken your reign. The game is quick, lasting only 15 to 30 minutes, and is designed for two players. With its abstract strategy and tile placement mechanics, Naja is a fun and challenging game that's perfect for fans of ancient Egyptian culture and competitive gameplay. The player with the most claimed scarabs wins, but beware - claimed bonfires can deduct points from your score, so you'll need to plan carefully to come out on top.
