Description

Polis: Fight for the Hegemony is a two-player board game set in ancient Greece, where you'll take on the role of a leader vying for control of the city-states. The goal is to build an empire with more population and prestige than your opponent, and to do that, you'll need to secure goods and trade them for wheat to feed your people. Each territory you control will provide different resources, and you'll have to balance your strategy to get the most out of them. As you grow your empire, you'll need to manage your military, diplomacy, and projects to gain prestige and influence. Your hoplites will fight for control of territories, your triremes will secure trade routes, and your diplomatic efforts will convince other city-states to join your league. With a playtime of 90 to 120 minutes, Polis: Fight for the Hegemony is a complex and challenging game that requires strategic thinking and planning, making it a great choice for fans of civilization and territory building games.
