Description

In Lignum, you're the owner of a lumber mill in the 19th century, competing against other players to be the most profitable. You start with limited resources and workers, and it's up to you to make savvy investments and plan carefully to outdo your opponents. You'll need to secure the best cutting areas, hire contract workers, and update your equipment to stay ahead. As you travel through the game, you'll optimize your processing chain, deciding how to transport and process your wood to maximize your earnings. With the addition of the Joinery & Buildings expansion, you can acquire special buildings and hire joiners to give you unique abilities and boost your income. The game requires strategic thinking and planning, but the payoff is worth it. With 2 to 4 players and a playtime of 90 to 120 minutes, Lignum is a challenging and engaging game that will keep you on your toes.
