With 24 leader tokens to choose from, players can opt to take a leader when they pick a new race, giving them an extra token to work with. But be warned, these leaders are brave and can only stay in regions that aren't immune, and they'll disappear as soon as their race goes into decline. In this expansion, leaders can be held hostage for ransom, adding a whole new level of negotiation and cunning to the game. If the ransom isn't paid, the capturing player will score two victory points at the end of the game, making it a valuable tactic to employ. With easy-to-learn rules and gameplay that lasts between 40 to 80 minutes, Leaders of Small World is perfect for 2 to 5 players looking to mix things up and try something new.
