Released in 2019, this expansion is perfect for 2 to 4 players who are familiar with the base game and are looking to shake things up. With normal complexity rules, you'll have no issue diving back into the world of cattle herding and train station management. The 13th Building Tile expansion brings new excitement to the game, introducing four identical tiles, one for each player color, which can be added to the existing building tiles of the same color. The new building tiles, 13a and 13b, offer fresh opportunities for strategy and growth. With 13a, you can discard a gray cattle and place one of your private buildings onto a building space on the trail, paying a dollar for each craftsman needed. Meanwhile, 13b allows you to gain dollars based on the number of discs you have on train stations, and then perform a single or double auxiliary action. These new tiles will keep you on your toes as you navigate the trail, managing your hand, building your deck, and collecting sets to outdo your opponents. With playtime ranging from 75 to 150 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the American West, complete with animals and variable set-up, making each game a unique experience.
