Description

The Underground Challenge: London / Berlin is a thrilling solo expansion that puts your track-building skills to the test as you compete against the real Underground lines. With a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, you'll need to be resourceful and strategic in building your own lines and diverting passengers away from the official ones. The game starts with multiple lines already built, and your goal is to beat the Underground's score before the Destination cards run out. As you take four actions per turn, placing Track tokens or taking Branch tiles, you'll need to think carefully about how to outmaneuver the Underground and come out on top. As the Passenger moves through the stations, visiting one or two at a time, you'll need to adapt your strategy to maximize your points and minimize the Underground's. With the same Passenger movement rules as the multiplayer game, you'll need to make tactical decisions about which routes to take, especially when the choice is up to you. If you can successfully complete The Underground Challenge by reaching or overtaking the Underground's score, you'll be crowned the winner. Designed by Sebastian Bleasdale and Dávid Turczi, this expansion requires a copy of On the Underground: London / Berlin and offers a fun and challenging experience for solo players, making it a great addition to your board game collection.
