Gormenghast: The Board Game is a thrilling adventure for 2 to 4 players, set in the dark and intriguing world of Mervyn Peake's gothic novels. Players take on the role of a kitchen rat, similar to the infamous Steerpike, with a desire for power and a goal to accumulate influence and rise to the top as Master of Ritual. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this 60-minute game is easy to dive into and start playing. As you navigate the castle, you'll complete various intrigues detailed on Plot Cards, moving characters around the board and using Dice Rolling, Hand Management, and Tile Placement to your advantage. With each completed plot, you'll gain Victory Tokens, bringing you closer to your goal. The first player to acquire 9 or more Victory Tokens wins the game, making it a competitive and exciting experience.
