Description

New Bedford is a game that lets you build the historic Massachusetts town into a thriving whaling community in the mid-1800s. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll gather resources to add buildings and launch ships to go whaling, all while managing your time carefully to earn the most points. The game is designed for 1 to 4 players and takes around 30 to 60 minutes to play, making it a great fit for a casual game night. As you play, you'll balance the need to go out whaling with the need to pay your crew and manage your resources. The game features a worker placement mechanic, where you'll place two workers per round to take actions like building, docking ships, and selling goods. With twelve rounds to build and whale your way to victory, you'll need to strategize and time your moves just right to come out on top.
