Description

In Venice, you'll take on the role of a wealthy merchant in 16th century Venice, navigating the city's canals and leveraging your influence to gain power. You'll move your gondolas around the board, activating assistants to gain resources, trade, and make money, all while trying to avoid arousing the suspicion of the Venetian Inquisition. As you broker contracts and complete tasks, you'll need to balance your business dealings with the risk of being caught and shut down. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, Venice offers a challenging and engaging experience for 1 to 5 players. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to those familiar with board games, and the addition of solo mode allows for solo play. As you build your network and trade your way to success, remember that being too successful can be a liability - the most suspicious player will face the wrath of the Inquisition, so tread carefully to come out on top.
