Description

In the not-so-distant future, the Achab Corporation has become the dominant force on planet Earth, thanks to its access to Gene.sys, a mysterious database filled with secrets and knowledge. But the corporation isn't the only one interested in tapping into this powerful resource - a group of expert hackers known as Breachers are trying to infiltrate the system to steal information and gain power for their factions. As a Breacher, you'll be competing against other players to breach the Gene.sys database, navigating the virtual universe and avoiding the A.R.M. security system, which will stop at nothing to prevent your intrusion. In The Breach, you'll need to manage your resources carefully, using a combination of hand management, modular board, and set collection mechanics to spread your viruses and gather as much information as possible. With variable player powers and a range of available actions, each game will be different from the last, challenging you to come up with a new strategy every time. Whether you're exploring the rooms of Gene.sys, fighting off guards and other Avatars, or using cheat codes to manipulate the database, you'll need to stay one step ahead of the competition to succeed.
