Description

HIRÞ is a two-player abstract strategy game where Viking kings clash for control of a coveted piece of land. The goal is simple: be the first to dominate the five middle spaces or force your opponent's king off the board. Despite its small board, the gameplay is intricate, with players able to build stronger units and outmaneuver their opponent. Players take turns making five moves, which can include moving pieces, loading warriors onto boats, or sailing across the board. Conflicts are resolved after each turn, and the king serves as a tiebreaker. The game is easy to learn, but its depth and complexity make it engaging for strategy fans. With playtime ranging from 10 to 60 minutes, HIRÞ is a great option for a quick showdown or a longer, more intense battle for territory.
