Description

La Bête is a thrilling board game for 2 to 5 players that drops you into a dark fantasy world of horror and adventure. Designed by Charlec Couronnaud and published in 2022, this game is all about asymmetric gameplay, where one player takes on the role of the Beast, while the others play as investigators trying to uncover its identity. The Beast's goal is to claim 25 victims before the end of the game, while the investigators must work together to prevent this from happening or reveal the Beast's secret identity. As the game unfolds over 12 rounds, representing 3 years with 4 seasons each, the investigators and the Beast engage in a cat-and-mouse game of hidden movement and secret unit deployment.
