Description

In Parley, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure set in the 16th century Mediterranean, where you'll take on the role of a fictional corsair character with a secret mission from one of six corresponding kings. With 4 to 6 players, you'll navigate the high seas and engage in strategic battles to control 20 ports scattered across the Mediterranean Sea. The game is designed for players familiar with board games, and with a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the world of pirates and Renaissance-era politics. As you play, you'll form alliances, make secret deployments, and vote on which coalitions to support, all while trying to keep your true intentions hidden from your opponents. The game's unique mechanics, including network and route building, secret unit deployment, and voting, will keep you on your toes as you try to outmaneuver your fellow players. With the country controlling the most adjoining ports emerging victorious, you'll need to balance your short-term goals with your long-term strategy to come out on top. And with the added twist of blackmail, you'll need to be careful not to reveal your secret mission, or you might find yourself on the receiving end of a clever sabotage.
