In Satori, a game of spiritual growth and enlightenment, you'll embark on a journey to advance on the path to awakening. This game, designed by Paco Yanez and released in 2023, is all about building and contributing to the development of a sacred site, with the goal of becoming the most enlightened player. With a playtime of 25 to 100 minutes, Satori is perfect for a group of 1 to 4 players looking for a game that's both fun and challenging. The game mechanics, which include card drafting, worker placement, and different worker types, will keep you engaged and invested in your progress. As you play, you'll get to build new temples, recruit wise monks, and contribute to the construction of a great pagoda, all in an effort to become the most spiritually advanced player. On your turn, you'll choose a devotee and take them to a temple to resolve an action, which could bring you resources or allow you to take additional actions. You can also send your monks to the mountains, where they can perform extra actions and help you progress on your spiritual journey. The player who advances the farthest on this journey will be declared the winner, making Satori a game that's all about strategy, planning, and a little bit of luck.
