Description

In Žižka: Reformation and Crusade in Hussite Bohemia, 1420-1421, you're transported to a tumultuous time in medieval Europe, where the Hussites, followers of the early-Reformation scholar Jan Hus, are on the rise. With their radical beliefs and unorthodox tactics, they're a force to be reckoned with, despite being outnumbered and outgunned by the Catholic crusaders. As you play, you'll take on the role of either the Hussites or the Catholics, navigating the challenges of medieval warfare, from building strongholds to managing the logistics of your crusade. The game is designed for 1 to 2 players, and with its simple rules, you can dive right in and start playing. The gameplay is driven by dice rolling, events, and movement points, which adds a layer of strategy and unpredictability to the game. As the Hussites, you'll need to use your fanatical faith and cunning tactics to outmaneuver the crusaders, while as the Catholics, you'll need to overcome the uncertainty of crusader recruitment and the daunting logistics of your campaign. With its unique blend of medieval politics and warfare, Žižka is a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat, as you battle for control of Bohemia and shape the course of history.
