Description

In Calimala, you're a cloth merchant in medieval Florence, competing to build your reputation and wealth. With a team of trusted employees, you'll assign them to various streets in the city to take actions, producing and delivering cloth, and contributing to the construction and decoration of buildings. As your employees work, they'll eventually be promoted to the city council, triggering a scoring phase and bringing you closer to victory. With a playtime of 75 minutes and supporting 3 to 5 players, Calimala offers a fun and challenging experience. The game's modular board and variable setup ensure each game is unique, while secret scoring objectives and action cards add an extra layer of uncertainty. Designed by Fabio Lopiano and published in 2017, Calimala is a game of strategy and skill, where you'll need to balance your actions and resources to emerge as the most successful merchant in Florence.
