La Révolution française: La patrie en danger 1791-1795 is a game of diplomacy and negotiations for 4 to 6 players, set during the tumultuous years of the French Revolution. Players take on the roles of shifting groups of politicians, or "Political Currents", each vying to strengthen their position and increase their fame. The game is won by accumulating victory points, with the outcome dependent on the current political regime. The game features a unique seating arrangement, with players seated according to their political stance, from the radical Sans-Culottes on the left to the conservative Royalists on the right. This setup encourages secret negotiations with neighboring players, adding a social and strategic layer to the game.
