Description

The Victory of Arminius: Teutoburg Forest, IX AD is a tactical game that drops you into one of the most infamous battles of the Roman Empire. It's 9 AD and three Roman Legions are about to clash with the fierce German tribes in a fight that will change the course of history. As a player, you'll take on the role of either the Germans or the Romans, commanding your units through a hexagon grid that represents the treacherous Teutoburg Forest. With each hex spanning about fifty meters and game turns lasting around forty-five minutes, you'll need to think strategically and make quick decisions to outmaneuver your opponent. The game is designed to be easy to learn, with simple rules that get you straight into the action. The combat is decided by dice rolls, adding an element of unpredictability to each battle. The game comes with a mounted, full-color board, rules, counters, and an aid card, giving you everything you need to dive into the world of ancient warfare.
