Abstract Strategy, Ancient
Description
In the ancient city of the Mayan empire, a challenge awaits. Nine temples stand with stone blocks in disarray, and it's up to you to rebuild them. As a powerful priest, you possess the knowledge of magic that allows you to exchange massive blocks of stone and recreate the towers without causing damage. Your goal is to create single-colored towers, and if you succeed in joining the colored stones together, you'll earn the right to decorate the tower with your own ladder. In this 20-minute game for 2 to 4 players, you'll compete to outwit your opponents and rearrange the stones of the nine towers. With easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right into the fun. Designed by Andrea Mainini and Alberto Branciari, Maya is a game of abstract strategy that will transport you to an ancient world of wonder and competition. Can you rise to the challenge and claim the reward of having your followers greet the sun from the top of a tower you've built?
