Description

Confederate Rails drops you into the midst of the American Civil War, where you'll take on the challenge of operating the railways of the Confederate States of America. With 3 to 5 players, you'll navigate the difficulties of delivering goods, supplies, and military loads across a dwindling rail network. The game is surprisingly simple to learn, but don't let that fool you - it's packed with depth and strategy. As you pick up and deliver loads across the map, you'll need to adapt to a changing landscape of friendly and rival tracks, congestion, and rail conditions. The Union force invasion adds an extra layer of tension, gradually shrinking the network from north to south. With event cards and flexible contracts to manage, you'll need to stay on your toes to come out on top. The player with the most money at the end of the 300-minute game will be declared the winner.
