Description

The Conquerors: Alexander the Great is a game that lets you experience the thrill of conquest and the challenges of campaigning in ancient times. As the Macedonian player, you'll take on the role of Alexander, trying to maintain your grip on Greece, become the Great King, and establish your deity. But it won't be easy - you'll have to overcome logistics, battle fatigue, and personalities, all while adapting to the societies you're trying to seize. With a unique system that keeps play going until you win or Alexander dies, this game is full of historical detail and challenging objectives. The use of cards adds an extra layer of realism, covering events like Alexander's drinking problems and the presence of key figures like Bagoas and Black Cleitus. Combat is resolved through a fun, two-tiered system that takes into account many factors beyond just numbers, making for a game that's rich in history and great fun to play.
