Description
Pericles: The Peloponnesian Wars is a game of strategy and negotiation for 1 to 4 players, set in ancient Greece from 460 BC to 400 BC. Players take on the roles of Athenian or Spartan factions, navigating a complex web of politics and war to emerge victorious. The game is divided into two phases: a war phase where alliances are forged and broken, and a political phase where individual interests come to the forefront. With over 20 scenarios to choose from, players can experience different aspects of the war, from short 45-minute skirmishes to epic 360-minute campaigns. The goal is to accumulate the most Honor, with the City State gaining the most Honor winning the war, and the faction with the most Honor on the winning side emerging victorious. With its intricate rules and deep gameplay, Pericles is a challenging and rewarding experience for fans of ancient history and strategic gameplay.
