Description

In the charming Norwegian fishing village of Saltfjord, you'll embark on a journey to shape the destiny of your settlement as the 19th century comes to a close. With the opportunity to expand your village, collect fish, engage in trade, or pioneer new technologies, the choices are endless. Over three rounds, you'll draft dice to activate buildings in your settlement, providing resources and unlocking actions such as sending out your fishing boat or advancing along technology tracks. As you erect new buildings, each die can activate more buildings, giving you more opportunities to grow and thrive. With a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, Saltfjord is an engaging game for 1 to 4 players that offers a great balance of complexity and fun. The game's variable set-up, including special abilities and end scoring tiles, adds to its replayability, ensuring a unique experience each time you play. As you navigate the challenges and opportunities of your fishing village, you'll need to strategically decide how to allocate your resources and prioritize your actions. With its rich theme and engaging gameplay, Saltfjord is a great choice for fans of city building, dice games, and nautical adventures, and its normal complexity makes it accessible to players familiar with board games.
