Description
In Heir to the Pharaoh, you and your opponent take on the roles of Bast and Anubis, competing for the Pharaoh's favor and the throne. To win, you'll need to build majestic structures like Shrines, Sun Temples, and Obelisks, and use Animal Magic to unleash the power of the gods. The game combines card play with a colorful game board, where you'll engage in civilization-building, bidding, set collection, area control, and hand management. Over eight rounds, you'll work to build a Pyramid and smaller monuments to impress the Pharaoh. Each round, you'll earn the favor of different gods, granting you unique abilities to build, align, and score points. With its mix of mechanics and variable player powers, Heir to the Pharaoh offers a fun and challenging experience for two players, lasting around 45 to 60 minutes. Will you emerge as the Heir to the Pharaoh, or will your opponent claim the throne?
