Description
Get ready for an adventure of exploration and discovery in Source of the Nile, a game designed for 1 to 6 players. Published in 1978, this classic game challenges you to navigate the uncharted territories of Africa, from Khartoum to Capetown and Lagos to Mombasa. With a unique hexagonal grid system, you'll move your explorer token through the unknown, encountering terrain, native tribes, and other surprises along the way. As you explore, you'll record your discoveries on the mapboard using wax crayons, and interact with the people and places you encounter. But beware - if your explorer dies before returning to Europe to publish their findings, their discoveries will be lost forever. With a playtime of 180 minutes, Source of the Nile is a game of strategy and luck, where careful planning and good judgment will pay off. Will you be the first to uncover the secrets of the Nile and emerge victorious?
