Description
Microverse is a game that packs a huge punch in a tiny package, giving you the full 4x experience in just 45 to 60 minutes. With simple rules that can be explained in no time, you'll be diving into the world of space exploration and empire-building in no time. As one of 1 to 4 players, you'll guide your civilization from humble beginnings on a single planet to a galaxy-spanning empire, competing to be the first to complete one of four victory conditions. Whether you're aiming for Expanse Victory, Empire Victory, Conquest Victory, or Transcendence, every decision counts in this fast-paced game. As you play, you'll use a hand of cards tied to four key actions: Build, Colonize, Explore, and Mobilize. Playing one or more cards of the same action type generates resource points, which are boosted by the number of worlds you've colonized with matching action icons. With 21 playable factions to choose from, each with its own unique strengths, weaknesses, and research abilities, you'll need to adapt your strategy on the fly to outmaneuver your opponents. As you explore, you'll uncover monoliths, evidence of a lost precursor civilization, and the game clock will start ticking down, adding an extra layer of pressure to your decision-making. With a modular board, tech trees, and variable player powers, Microverse is a game that's different every time you play. The combination of action points, area impulse, and campaign-driven gameplay creates a thrilling experience that's full of surprises. Whether you're a fan of civilization-building, economic management, or all-out war, Microverse has something for everyone. Designed by Sam London, this game is a must-try for anyone looking for a fun, fast-paced, and strategic gaming experience that's out of this world. With its unique blend of exploration, politics, and combat, Microverse is the perfect game for anyone looking to explore the galaxy and emerge victorious.
