Description

In the world of Altay: Dawn of Civilization, four mysterious cultures have been thriving in a secluded region, blending magic and technology in a delicate balance with nature. But with the arrival of new settlers, the dynamics are about to change. As the leader of one of the original inhabitants, you'll need to decide how to react to this challenge. Will you merge with the newcomers, or focus on preserving your ancient traditions? The choice is yours in this engaging board game, designed by Paolo Mori and Ole Steiness, where you'll control one of four factions, each with its unique starting deck and subtle differences. As you play, you'll use your cards to produce resources, build settlements, expand your territory, and manipulate your deck. The game board represents a region of conflict, with different terrain types and resources to collect. You can acquire new cards, representing the settlers and their crafts, and develop achievements that grant your faction additional capabilities. With a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, Altay: Dawn of Civilization is easy to learn, but offers a depth of strategy that will keep you coming back for more. With 2 to 4 players, you can enjoy the game with friends and family, exploring different paths to victory, which is achieved through a combination of territorial expansion, technological development, and creating lasting memories of your civilization's achievements.
