Description
In HERO versus GUARDIAN: A Game of Dungeon Craft, 2 to 4 players embark on an adventure of strategy and chance. The game is easy to learn, and a typical playtime is around 60 minutes. One player takes on the role of the Guardian, building a dungeon to protect the Treasure Vault, while the other player or players become the Hero, forming a party of adventurers to loot the dungeon. As the game progresses, players spend action tokens to take turns in an alternating sequence, combining elements of chance with strategic thinking. The Hero must navigate the dungeon, capturing rooms and earning points, while the Guardian tries to ambush and surprise them. With modular board and dice rolling mechanics, each game is unique, and the outcome is far from certain. Will the Hero succeed in capturing the Treasure Vault, or will the Guardian outsmart them and protect their dungeon?
