Description

Get ready to take your Planet Unknown experience to the next level with the Supermoon expansion, designed by Ryan Lambert and Adam Rehberg and published in 2024. This exciting addition introduces a new decision point, where you can place your tile on either your moon or your planet, adding a fresh layer of strategy to the game. The moon comes equipped with a 3D satellite mini that helps clear meteorites in a unique way, and you can even deploy a rover on your moon to gain an edge. With the Supermoon expansion, games now take around 65 to 80 minutes to play, allowing for new strategies to emerge and challenging players to adapt their winning edge. As you navigate the challenges of the Supermoon, you'll have access to a supply of salvage tiles, each featuring a split polyomino with one resource and one meteorite. You can choose to place these tiles together or apart, adding a new level of flexibility to your gameplay. The expansion also introduces a new planet and corporation, which can be mixed and matched to create even more asymmetric pairings in Planet Unknown. With support for 1 to 6 players, Planet Unknown: Supermoon is the perfect addition to your board game collection, offering a fun and competitive experience that's out of this world. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, the normal complexity of the rules makes it easy to learn and dive into the action.
