Description
Carcata is a light strategy game where 2 to 4 players take on the role of tribal warriors on a volcanic island, competing to collect gems and prove their courage. Designed by Roberto Fraga, the game is easy to learn and plays out over 20 to 40 minutes. Players roll dice to determine their actions, which can include moving their meeples, triggering lava flows to disrupt opponents, or erecting statues to protect themselves. As players navigate the island, they must balance risk and reward, using their dice rolls to outmaneuver their opponents and collect valuable gems. But beware - the island itself can turn against them, with the Ancestral Turtle potentially ending the game if it completes two laps around the island. With its unique blend of action, dice rolling, and territory building, Carcata is a thrilling and unpredictable game that's perfect for players looking for a fun and challenging experience.
