Description
Iberian Rails is a share-holding train game where players take on the role of investors, navigating the complexities of building railway companies in Spain. With 2 to 5 players, the game is a thrilling experience that lasts around 70 to 90 minutes. The game mechanics are a bit complicated, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be hooked. Players select characters using a unique mechanism, then take turns building tracks, selling shares, and triggering dividend payouts. The twist is that each railway company has its strengths and weaknesses, and the characters you choose can either help or hinder your progress. With 42 cities to connect, including 14 tourist cities, the game requires strategic thinking and planning. The goal is to accumulate the most wealth by the end of the game, when a double dividend is paid out for all shares. Will you emerge as the top investor, or will your opponents outmaneuver you? In Iberian Rails, anything can happen, making it a fun and challenging experience for all players.
