Description

In the ancient land of Crete, the Minoan civilization is on the cusp of greatness, and you're about to embark on a journey to become its leader. As a member of one of four prestigious Minoan clans, you'll vie for the title of Minos, the ultimate leader of your people. But this isn't a game of conquest and war - instead, you'll focus on governance, prosperity, and cultivating your clan's unique identity. With the guidance of game designer Stan Kordonskiy, you'll build cities, monuments, and trade routes, all while navigating the complexities of leadership in a civilization renowned for its peaceful pursuits. As you play, you'll draft and assign dice to your programming board, carefully planning your actions to outmaneuver your opponents. With each turn, you'll take your dice in order from highest to lowest, performing pre-planned actions and building your tableau with cards that offer instant effects and triggered rewards. Your goal is to prove yourself worthy of the Minos title within just four rounds, and with the game's intricate mechanics, including action drafting, area majority, and variable player powers, you'll need to stay strategic to succeed. Whether you're playing solo or with up to three friends, Minos: Dawn of the Bronze Age promises a captivating and challenging experience that will keep you engaged for 90 to 150 minutes.
