Animals, Territory Building
Description
In Beasty Borders, two players compete to create the largest groups of animals in a shared landscape. The game starts with a random setup of 9 tiles, each with spaces for animals and lakes that remain empty throughout. On each turn, a player rolls an 8-sided die to determine where they can place one of their animals, or choose to pass and let their opponent take a turn. The game is all about adapting to new situations and making tough choices to maximize your score. As the groups of animals grow, so do the victory points, with larger groups bringing in more points. With simple rules and a playtime of just 15 to 25 minutes, Beasty Borders is a quick and exciting game that's easy to learn but challenging to master. Despite its light rules, the game builds up to a tense finale as players compete for the biggest groups and the most points.
