Description
Nine-minute Kingdom is a quick and simple game where you build a kingdom to earn the most points. The game is played over 9 turns, with each turn consisting of simultaneous action selection, where players pick a card and play it to expand their kingdom. The goal is to connect various icons and complete edicts to score points. The rules are easy to learn, with only three basic rules to follow: each new card must be placed adjacent to an existing one, the kingdom must form a 3x3 square, and cards can be added freely without matching existing ones. As players build their kingdoms, they aim to create a thriving medieval landscape with connected roads, terrains, and symbols. The game ends with a scoring phase, where players receive edict cards and score points for their individual terrains. The player with the longest connected road, for example, gets the "Kingsroad" edict. With its short playtime and simple rules, Nine-minute Kingdom is a fun and engaging game for 1 to 5 players, perfect for a quick gaming session.
