Description
In Aton, the battle for ancient Egypt's temples has begun. The new pharaoh, Akhnaton, seeks to overthrow the old deity Amon and establish Aton as the supreme god. As one of the two players, you'll fight to claim the four largest temples and secure victory for your god. With the same starting position, the game comes down to who can best utilize their abilities and outmaneuver their opponent. This abstract strategy game, designed by Thorsten Gimmler, is easy to learn and plays out in just 30 minutes. With simultaneous action selection and hand management, you'll need to think strategically to outwit your adversary and emerge victorious. As a game of area majority and influence, Aton requires careful planning and clever use of once-per-game abilities to succeed. Will you be able to guide your god to triumph and claim the temples of Egypt?
