In Surf's Up, you and your friends are rival surfers competing to catch the best waves and score the most points. With easy-to-learn rules, this 20-30 minute game is perfect for 2-6 players. Designed by Jay Bendixen and published in 2024, Surf's Up combines auction, deck, bag, and pool building mechanics with bluffing, deduction, and set collection to create a thrilling experience. You'll need to strategically bid on waves, using energy cards to outdo your opponents, while also navigating the risks of bluebottle stings and making the most of your surfboard collection. As you play, you'll need to balance your energy levels, using your respect resource to gain an edge or buy valuable cards from the beach. With three unique goals to satisfy each game, you'll need to stay focused and adapt your strategy to come out on top. The game ends when all bluebottles have been resolved or a player runs out of energy, and the surfer with the most points wins.
