Description
Kintsugi is a serene game for 2 to 3 players where you repair a piece of pottery and then take on the role of an art critic for your opponent. The game is inspired by the Japanese art form of Kintsugi, which celebrates the imperfect history of an object. You can win by being a better artist, a better critic, or both, with the twist that the lowest score wins. In this quick 10 to 15 minute game, you play cards depicting fragments of pottery, trying to connect your color to make the fewest pieces. But be careful, as your critic can guess your color and subtract your score from theirs. With easy to learn rules, Kintsugi is a great game for those who enjoy storytelling, tile placement, and deduction, with a hint of bluffing. Designed by Mark McGee and published in 2018, Kintsugi is a unique and engaging game that will keep you coming back for more.
