Citadels: The Dark City is a thrilling expansion to the original Citadels game, designed by Bruno Faidutti and first introduced in 2004. This expansion is easy to learn and can be enjoyed by 2 to 8 players in about 60 minutes. It brings new excitement to the medieval fantasy world of Citadels, with fresh characters and districts to discover. In Citadels: The Dark City, you'll use card drafting and set collection to build your city, while employing variable player powers and bluffing to outmaneuver your opponents. New features like the Quarry, Imperial Treasury, and Fountain of Youth offer strategic advantages and bonuses, adding a new layer of depth to the game.
