Description

In the historic harbor city of Valparaíso, you'll take on the role of an influential citizen, working to drive the city's development forward. To succeed, you'll need to plan carefully, sending merchants into the hinterland to secure valuable export goods and ships overseas to achieve new milestones. With 2 to 5 players competing, the game is full of dynamic interactions, as almost every action affects the other players, changing costs and trading possibilities. As you navigate the game's 45 to 90 minute playtime, you'll need to stay adaptable, reacting to your opponents' moves and adjusting your plans on the fly. With simultaneous action selection and a point to point movement system, Valparaíso demands strategic thinking and quick decision-making.
